This is a very tricky fight and I could only hope that Mosley comes in shape and not loses to much muscle or water.
Those couple of punds could really hurt him, but he has Nazim and Hopkins in his corner.
He says he is always in shape, and constantly training, so he is not a part time fighter like De La Hoya.
Depending on how much Pacquiao moves and his pressure, or Mosley's, I am favoring Shane at this moment.
But I can't predict the future or the boxers' gameplans.

Pacquaio simply said he's willing to fight Mosley. He also said that it's up to his promoter. So there is no assurance yet that this fight will happen. However, in case it does, this will be a very difficult fight for Pac but his speed and POWER will prevail on this.
People are saying that Mosley is sort of an idiot if he fights below 147 but they don't see it that PAcquaio would be a complete moron if he fights at 147.
Pac haters are here again claiming to be knowledgeable in boxing.
Generally speaking, a fighter that goes up in weight is clearly put at a disadvantage. What Pacquaio is doing is simply trying to make the game fair by fighting at a catchweight coz he is simply at a disadvantaged position. Remember guys, Pac was at 130 lbs last year and you're hoping that he goes up to 147 to be massacred there and you CALL yourself boxing fans? Let's be real boxing fans here and you will accept that Mosley and Pac fighting at a catchweight is but fair.
Ohhhh, you're now afraid that what happened to DLH may happen to Mosley coz most of you, haters, predicted that PAc will go down easily against DLH but you were proven deadly wrong. So you're claiming now that DLH was weight drained. HAve you forgotten that weeks before the fight, DLH was already weighing somewhere at 147. I don't see any real weight drained DLH there. What we saw was PAcquaio overwhelming de la hoya with his speed and POWER. Diaz admitted after the fight that PAc was too fast, HAtton didn't believe it so he went down easily. Now let me remind you again, Pac's arsenal is not only his speed. Never underestimate his POWER.
PLease..... as Oumafan had stated, let's stop the hating. You're all becoming like VD here.
Don't get me wrong but before I became a Pacquaio fan, I'm the biggest Mosley fan in real life. You can actually call me a Mosley nuthugger and I won't mind.

I'm in the same boat as you Bruce.
Having Pacquiao fight at 147 isn't fair to him. I think the 144-145 range will the the fairest way for this fight to happen. When the catchweight is mentioned people just think about De La Hoya and how weightdrained he was when he fought Pac. Shane's frame is smaller than Oscar's and is naturally a smaller guy. Pac was fighting at 130 a year ago and now he's fighting higher than 140 for this one yet he's the con artist?
Plus, Pac is #1 P4P according to the standard used by the boxing world. Why should Pac go to someone else's weight class when they should be looking to make the fight with him. A catchweight at 144-145 is the fairest way IMO. Anything less is unfair to Mosley, anything more is unfair to Pacquiao.

I think De La Hoya is bigger through the shoulders but even if he does have a bigger frame, he isn't a fighter who ever used his size to his advantage. Mosley would certainly make size more of a factor like he did using his physical strength to his advantage against Margarito. And Mosley definitely would not be so outgunned against Pacquiao.
IMO, I haven't compared styles but if Pacquiao beat Mosley at any weight, it would mean more then the Oscar and Hatton wins combined. I really think that would be to tall of an order.
BTW- in the amateurs Mosley almost always fought a division north of Oscar. When they both were named to the Olympic team, Oscar fought at 132 while Mosley fought at 139. Even though De La Hoya moved up quicker then Mosley, I always considered Mosley to be the stronger fighter when they met.

I would consider Shane smaller than Oscar based on Oscar fighting as high as Middleweight (even though he was too small for that weight). Even up to now, Oscar was comfortable at 154 in the last stages of his career and Shane is comfortable at 147. In their fight against each other, I thought Oscar looked like the bigger man.
I'm not saying this is a fact, it's just my opinion on the size of the fighters.

mosley's got bigger nuts than pac, you'll enjoy it bruce. lol
Well thanks rain and since cut me kinda left i remeber him saying somthing that made it look like pac was not the champion. Because there was another champion in the division and they did not fight kinda how the Leonard thing was i could be wrong think fenster knows about it.
