honestly wasn't too impressed with Ward against Miranda, he was open to the right all night long, and unlike Miranda i think Dirrell will capitalize on it and make him pay dearly

You are only open if you are getting hit, how many times have Roy JOnes Jr, Mayweather, Whitaker, Hopkins looked open because they've had their hands down, only to be impossible to hit. Ward was so much faster than Miranda he could get away with it, I doubt he would be that open against Dirrell.

Agreed. And One thing about Ward is he made sure when Miranda hit him with the left he was keeping his feet unplanted. And despite the great performance Ward wasn't even satisfied in himself, he seems to always want to get better so I'd expect him to look even better the next time out.
