In recent times we've seen - Pac, Mayweather, Oscar, Hatton, Hopkins, Calzaghe, Marquez (this could go on forever)... fighters getting title shots moving up straight away. They didn't have to PROVE anything. Their exploits in the lower division was more than enough to prove their worth. Haye is no different.
World class at cruiserweight isn't world class at heavyweight...Evander Holyfield had to take 6 fights, why shouldn't David Haye Is Haye better than Evander OR does Haye have something to hide

As much as Haye has been hyped up I HAVE to question him...anything that sounds "Too good to be true" probably is and therefore I will be the biggest David Haye cynic on the forum until he proves himself vs top heavyweights.

World Class at Cruiserweight isn't world class at Heavyweight?? Had this argument before, but have you seen the Heavyweight division? Seriously, people need to stop looking at the Heavyweight division like it is 15-20 years ago.

bzkfn, it doesn't matter how weak everyone thinks the heavyweight division is the TRUTH about cruiserweight is that the only reason that division exsists is because there are a lot of guys who are too big for 175, too small for heavyweight, or not talented enough to make it at heavyweight. Since the start of the cruiserweight division in 1979 how many CRUISERWEIGHTS made big waves in heavyweight boxing?

Evander Holyfield, James Toney, Vassily Jirov(that's a stretch), Alfred "Ice" Cole? I only rate Holyfield and MAYBE Toney out of that group

I mean let's be honest it's not really been the greatest of divisions

Light Heavyweights moving up to heavyweight have done better: Michael Spinks, Roy Jones Jr., Bob Foster, Michael Moorer.

So this whole "World Class Cruiserweight" means less than nothing to me.
