They both Boxed for the same Amatuer Club, think thats the connection in fact I know it is .

Yeah, they both come out of Fitzroy Lodge, which is where I train, and are pally because Mick Carney who's in charge has been putting Bunce onto the promising kids since Buncey got into journalism. So Bunce has probably known David Haye since he was about 13 or 14.
