What I found really weird was that close friends said according to interviews that they believed he was murdered and was not enganging in a sex act that went wrong, although they said he had engaged in self asphyixiation sex in the past

I mean it was known that he had a history of doing this, presumably because he must have told people, yet those same people dont believe this was such an incident

Well, following that logic through, it must have been one of those people that murdered him.

If he had told people he indulged in those practices, it could have ony been one of those people who would have known to murder him and fake a self-asphyxiation death. Them coming out and saying what they say is clearly an elaborate double bluff (such as murdering parents who give tearful television appeals for the return of their loved ones)

I smell a great internet conspiracy theory brewing .... and in fact will start one up on a David carradine fan forum.
