Good luck with the bets lads, but I won't be having a punt on Wright.

I rate Olusegun pretty highly, although when I saw him at the York Hall on the undercard of the Ian Napa fight, he didn't look overly impressive.

It was a decent fight for sure, and he did his usual fancy dan tricks - but he won comfortably in the end.

Damn Wright fell short again eh.,Did anyone watch it??I'd knew it would go the whole 12 rounds.I wonder if Nigel was'nt fully tuned up for this fight,i mean he said in the local paper 4 days before the fight that he could have done with another 2weeks in the gym before this fight but went ahead with it anyhow. For you guys who watched the fight, tell me how you felt it went and were did Nigel go wrong. Thanks

I watched it on a stream which was a bit blurry. To be honest with you, like I said before, I rate Olusegun highly. He is a class act - I don't think Wright went wrong, I just think he was up against a classier fighter.

    Think he did well.

Really disoppointed i think it showed he needed the extra couple of weeks his timing was off and he was just waiting to long to get his punches off havnt spoken to Gus yet, might just catch up with him when he over here in the next few weeks.

Sounds right mate.Nigel did say going into this fight he could have done with another two weeks in at the gym soo there was always going to be the theory that he was up against it going into this fight, but i give Wright loads of Credit for taking this fight as know one else seemed to want to fight Olusegun.I just wished he had them extra two weeks of gym work under his belt before this fight happened.Nevermind.I like Wright,he is always worth watching and is a worthy challenger of a title fight for the British Light welterweight yet again sometime soon and this time he'll be fully prepared and really sharpe!

Wright was outclassed for pretty much all the fight and I don't think an extra week would have made any difference to the result...He was just not good enough in my opinion!
