I've only picked guys that I've seen a fair bit of footage of, hence why Armstrong & Benny Leonard miss out at 135, & with the new divisions, some of these guys wouldn't make it into my all-time Top 75 probably, whilst other divisions have so many choices that if I did it again I might change things.
That's a pretty good list. I'm not so sure about McCallum though. Depends what you mean by best I suppose. Personally I think a guy like Hearns or Leonard would have beaten McCallum at JMW, but they didn't stick around long enough in that division. Same sort of thing with Aaron Pryor. I can think of a few guys that's I'd favor over Pryor at that weight, but again they didn't stick around long enough.

That's why I think these kind of "Best at each weight" lists don't mean much, too many better fighters fall through the cracks because they moved through the divisions too quickly.
Pryor I think was unbeatable at that weight at the time, although a fight between him & Duran would've been class & the aren't many I can see beating him there, maybe slick boxers. But like you say, some guys just move through divisions too quickly. I thought about putting Hearns at LMW, but he just wasn't there long enough & largely fought welters moving up. Similarly, Roy Jones is the best fighter to have fought at SMW for me, but he wasn't there long enough & Calzaghe is the only elite fighter to have really made the division his own
At the time, sure, go with Pryor, but since we are talking all time then I imagine guys like Mosely, Duran, Mayweather Jr., delaHoya, probably Benitez all are the equal of Pryor at JWW.

And also I agree with Mr140 on Leonard at WW. I don't think he gives up anything to Robinson at welterweight when it comes to boxing ability and toughness.
