114-114 draw. 6 rounds Clottey, 5 rounds Cotto, 1 even, Take a point from Clotty for the knockdown. I was pretty much agreeing with how Steward had it up until his emotions got the better of him. Cant fault him for that though, thats why I like him, he honest about it. Didnt agree with the Lederman card as usual, though all in all HBO did a nice job, and as much as I dont like him, credit to Kellerman for a job well done last night.

I gave Cotto the fight by 1 point

114-113 is how I scored it due to the knockdown in the first.

Robbery no way, how would my reaction been if Clottey won the fight?

I would have said he earned it,

Thhis was a fight that either man could have won and rounds were so close, IMO it was the last couple of rounds that won it for Cotto....

114-113 either way really, have seen it twice and have seen it both ways.

Clottey appeared the better fighter, he won his rounds more clearly (except for obviously the sixth) but its not just about that, he gave away some rounds and obviously the knockdown was huge.

Amazing how nearly all of us have come to the conclusion of 114-113 cotto yet not a single pro judge scored it for that last night!

As for the guy that scored it 115-115

Well I tried to judge the fight as unbiasedly as possible, and I had it 114-113 for Cotto last night, rewatched it today, and could have easily made an argument for 115-112 for Cotto. Reading around the boxing websites, I was seeing many writers giving it to Cotto by 115-112 and even a few 116-111. And of course, there were a couple that scored it for Clottey by 114-113, but most did score it for Cotto.

Obviously, I'm proud of Cotto for showing what a true champion is made of. He continues to show his heart, and his will. So naturally today I'm feeling like......

Cotto has his flaws obviously, but his vulnerability, his heart, his humbleness, and his willingness to take the tough fights, is why I like him so much.

All I have to say to the doubters, and the haters, who all said that Margacheato stole Cotto's heart, and that he lost is will, is............

I want to give a special shout out to my friend JT Rock. Thanks for chatting with me before the fight, you helped calm my nerves, and in turn, I was glad to help calm you down after the fight. You're a true friend.

I was drunk need to see a replay . Seemed like Cotto just barely pulled it off with the last rounds though. He showed some good determination fighting with that huge cut, he made Robert Guerrero look like a straight up bitch. He obviously learned his lesson from the Margarito fight, and boxed and moved, and kept a higher output.

If one fighter was KD even if he was winning the round would you consider it a 10-8 round automatically?

I have to agree with the draw or maybe even a 1 point Cotto win. But Cotto should have been deducted a point when he threw Clottey down. Was it a case of the referree being scared to be blamed for the possible loss of a fight in a fighter's hometown?

    114-113 Clottey.

There were a lot of close rounds though, so I don't have a problem with Cotto getting the decision.

I had it 116-111 Cotto. It seems no one else (bar 1 of the judges) had it this wide though. I scored rounds 1,2,3,4,6,10,11,12 for Cotto.

I thought Clottey just didnt do enough punching and took periods off in a lot of rounds, apart from the middle of the fight where he took charge. Also for my money Cotto was the ring general a lot of the time on his toes with Clottey following him around but not cutting off the ring. I think others perceiving that as effective pressure by Clottey is where our scores differ. I really do believe anyone scoring the fight for Clottey is totally wrong. I can see a draw as possible if you gave round 1 as a 10-9 (which I dont think it is).
