I had Cotto in a VERY close fight. You can make a case the other way in terms of rounds that could have gone either way.

To me was a real close fight though , isn't because im Cotto fan but Cotto won , was a real split decision , he battled until the end with that cut and seeing with one eye and that means a real Champion , he had to change his strategy completely , Clottey obviously could penetrate his shots , but with a lot of respect , he didn't take advantage of Cottos cut , i hope Cotto could give Clottey another fight , he deserve it , he was one of more stronger boxer that Cotto ever fought..................

I don't understand the poll, I mean how can a judge or one of us decide to award a split decision win, that's not an option for an individual to make rather its when judges disagree with each other that that happens.

Just Cotto win, Clottey win, Draw were the options you needed.

    Oops.

    Got a bit carried away.

One person had it by split decision though.

It was a close fight, and I had Cotto winining. Clottey didnt step on the gas and take advantage of the cut. He blew it or Cotto's shots didnt allow Clottey to work, either way it was a close fight but I dont disagree with Cotto winning.

I scored it 115-112 in favour of Miguel Angel Cotto.

Clottey would of won the fight had he stepped up his workrate in the championship rounds but he didn't and he allowed Cotto to coast and steal rounds.

Credit to my boy Cotto for fighting on for 9 rounds with that bad cut.

I predicted espicifcally a close SD in the pre-fight thread. But I had no idea a bad accidental headbutt occured so I dont think I nailed it that much.

Cotto won more rounds with a knockdown on the 1st round. Clottey is lucky Cotto got cut super early in the fight otherwise Cotto would've done more damage.
