I dont buy it. How come it seems like every time there is a great fight on HBO Floyd announces something. Pac-Hatton, his comeback....Cotto-Clottey, his injury and postponed comeback. Give me a break. He wants it all to be about him. I think this an attempt for the public to get more interest in the fight by pushing it back. I mean they just previewed the 24/7 last night. Hopefully im wrong and thee is some legitamacy to this, but again the timing points to Floyd trying to steal the limelight.

It's only postponed, not canceled. I imagine people with tickets will have the option of getting a refund or holding on to them and attending the fight once a new date has been announced.

If the fight had been outright canceled I would suspect Floyd was faking, especially convienently coming less than 24 hours after Miguel Cotto looking extremely suspect and vulnerable, but simply being postponed means we're all just sh!t out of luck this year with fights.

"The fight, which was to be shown on HBO pay-per-view, was already suffering at the box office, where it was not attracting the same action as Mayweather's earlier fights with Hatton and Oscar De La Hoya. And the delay almost certainly takes the Mayweather-Marquez winner out of the conversation for Manny Pacquiao's next fight. Pacquiao was ringside at Madison Square Garden on Saturday to watch Miguel Cotto's split-decision victory over Joshua Clottey and was to meet with his team Sunday to discuss his next bout, with potential opponents now likely narrowed to Cotto and Shane Moseley."

it has been announced on RDS.Ca too, looks true. As long as it's not a broken rib, the postponement can be relatively short if HBO has some free space for it, if it's broken, however.... that's all another story. Hopefully it won't be much worst than a month or something otherwise it'll be the summer of all bummers.
