They are just losing football? Never read the whole thing I'm watching the boxing at the min.
No they're not. They've just lost the Premier League. It says they've re-opened their website to new subscribers and the channels will continue to air, so the thread title is extremely misleading and has no mention of losing any Boxing at all or disappearing altogether.
fuck no's i just hope my 10 quid a month is still gonna get me the boxing they got going on
Unless they can fiddle the auction and get the football rights once more, perhaps leasing them to SKY as a third party, (as SKY are not allowed to win all six packages), I fear it is the end for Setanta's boxing.

I'm pulling the plug on Setanta for sure.
£15 for what?
Not much boxing, no football, I'm not into golf...
As much as I like Steve Bunce's boxing hour, it ain't work £15 a month.
Without any Premier League football next season there is no way they can -or will- continue.
They only reopened subscriptions last week because they were expecting to get that cash injection that fell through.

Digital TV - News - BT Vision pulls Setanta sales again - Digital Spy
The worst thing is they only took my £13 yesterday... grr. I'd cancelled last month but this is my month's notice (waited so I would still get the Haye fight) I won't see that, or any sport, for that.
If your subs are due I'd cancel your direct debits.

this is bad news, i have the virgin XL package so get setanta free anyway, be honest i cant afford £20 a month for skysports(plus any decent fight is usually bloody PPV anyway).
So is it wise to cancel the DD to Setanta then cuz I dont think theres any boxing coming up anyway
