I agree. That huge right hand in the last ten seconds of round 5 ruined him.

Yeah. My hats off to Maidana eventhough he got dirty. The ref sucks.
I thought both fighters fought a bit dirty, but Maidana was definitely the dirtier of the two.

Are you talking about in the clinches or when Ortiz bent down with his head down? I don't blame Maidana for the latter, if a fighter's going to do that he can't be surprised if he gets hit in the back of the head.
thing is that the shot was just as bad as the Barrera punch on Marquez, he hit him downward directly to the back of the head, i don't care who it is, that's dirty, and the ref should have stepped in, the punching in the clinch, well both did it, and it had more to do with the type of fight than anything, but the last shot from Maidana to the back of Ortiz's head was a bit too much

    Maidana would rail Khan.

It wasn't intentional and it was Ortiz fault for bending down like that IMO. I don't think he meant to hit him behind the head, he was in the process of throwing a flurry when it happened.

Meh, I'm not a fan of Maidana's style but I was more annoyed with the ref. I love infighting but break them when one guy's got another guy's arm trapped. Its not rocket science.

Ortiz classy in defeat. He'll learn a lot from this fight and come back as a better, more intelligent fighter.

    Wow, didn't expect that result.

Does anyone else think that Ortiz kind of punked out there in the end? What was Max saying earlier about Ortiz having heart.

Kind of disappointed in him. He needs to watch the Cotto/Clottey fight to see what heart is.

Ortiz's face is a mess. He looks like a ying/yang symbol.

I've decided to become a Khan fan. Khan would win, more reach, bigger wrists.

    Xadu was banned?
