I was just rewatching last nights episode, and was wondering, shouldn't have Bill known Sookie was in trouble before she got attacked?

That's what was happening in season 1 after she drank his blood, and he told her that he would know when she was in trouble.

it's weird cause normally she'll yell, "BILL!", right? he just heard he scream and then he went after her.. still weird though considering he was right there, too.
