Setting you Klitheads straight is so easy.

So tell me dude when was the last time Floyd enjoyed a drastic height, weight, reach and power advantage?

Not to mention your comparing a fighter from the absolute weakest and unmarketable division, to a fighter who fights within the realms of what has been called a golden era for 140/147

    Class dismissed
    - Lets look at Floyd's opposition:

Ricky Hatton - Floyd had every advantage over hatton, size, speed, reflexes defense, and what does he do? Floyd feints, and plays keep away while pot shotting hatton for 10 rounds

Baldomir - Floyd had every adavantage over the slow as molasis Baldomir and chose to hang back and just pot shot his way to a decision.

De La Hoya - Again, Floyd had speed and youth on his side and what does he do? he runs the whole fight....

I wonder how Floyd will fight Marquez, who again has has a ton of physical advantages? Is he going to go in and try to knock him out? NO - is he going to fight a defensive fight and pot shot......

Dont dog Wlad for lacking killer instinct when your hero has little if no killer instinct himself.

    This is way too easy

    CLASS DISMISSED
    Wait... you're serious??

Floyd actually came into the ring lighter than Hatton, and started his career much lighter. Hatton was a big 140lber, Floyd was considered smaller than average at the weight. He then beat up on Hatton at his own game on the inside, moving in and out drawing him onto the punches. He did not just jab his way away from him. Also almost no one thought Floyd would KO Hatton, but he did.

Baldomir was a considerably bigger man, and was known for having a great chin. That's not someone you want to get into a slugfest with, however, I will concede that this was in no way an exciting fight.

Oscar came into the fight at least 15lbs heavier, this was a guy who was considered the best LMW in the world at this point, and Floyd came in and beat him despite being so much smaller. Also only B-Hop had ever actually stopped him with a body shot, so no way was Floyd going to lay him out, not at LMW anyway.

Also generally when Floyd has fought lower levels of opposition, eg Gatti, Mitchell, Manfredy (all of whom are equivalent of the guys getting taken out by Wlad) he has jumped on them and had them out by at latest the 6 round mark.

We'll see how he fights JMM before making a judgement on that, just as we will when/if Wlad fight Haye.

You can't even compare their opposition, the best Wlad has beaten is Chagaev, who as good as he is, is not that much better in talent than say Judah, who Floyd was the same size as. If Chagaev was the same height as Wlad, would he have been so easy to pick off.

Mayweather has beaten, and in some cases stopped, guys who are a shoe-in for the HoF. I can't think of a single guy Wlad has beaten who will get there.

My point is not that Wlad is a hall of fame fighter, but I dont understand how you can dog him for not having killer instinct but than talk about how great Floyd Mayweather and B Hop are. I can understand if you are a fan of Erik Morales, Barrerra or Pac Man, then i can see why you dog Wlad, cause you like guys that go in and try to knock people out. Floyd and B Hop never try and knock people out and for the most part have speed, experience, and skill on their side.

Like I said earlier in the thread, Wlad gets more crap than he deserves, I think he's an excellent fighter, however his opposition is average at best, and that's why people would like to see him take more risks and do a bit more against said opposition. Floyd & B-Hop when fighting weaker opposition pretty much always took them out well or beat them solidly. Wlad does beat them well, but unfortunately he never does things that really make the fan sit back in amazement, such as PBF did against Hatton in the 8th & 10th or B-Hop against Pavlik with the bolo punches in round 7, 8 & 12, and it's a shame because he's more than capable. I don't blame him for fighting the way he did against Chagaev, who is a good enough boxer to warrant that, but against an old shot Rahman & Ibragimov it is a bit unwarranted. I want to see a Haye fight partly because I think it will drag him out of his shell & show just what a good fighter he is
