I am totally shocked by this. Gatti was far too young to die.

well kinda took the Gatti news pretty hard, same as my cousin, so we went to the local gym in Moca, and well to be honest i haven't been in a boxing gym to actually train in about 6 yrs, so was plenty rusty

started out banging on the heavy bag after my stretches and just kept thinking about how fucked up it is that a guy who you've basically seen grow up in front of your eyes, i mean how long has Gatti been around? and he was only 37, so i just kept pounding away on there for a good 45 minutes or so, then moved over to the doublebag, my mind was kinda blank at this stage to be honest, but out of the blue i just got downright pissed, so decided to spar a while, again i haven't been in a boxing gym in 6 yrs, to train at least, and well asked one of the daily guys to go at it for a while, well we basically went at it for 6 rnds, only thing running through my mind was how even though it was a sad moment in the Alfonso Gomez fight, and to hear Gatti retire in the locker room, you kinda had the feeling that he was gonna go on to live a good life, that even though after all those wars, he still had his marbles, he was in good health and was happy, the news of him getting into real estate only cemented this belief, then for his life to get cut short the way it did, just really pushed me over the edge, honestly was numb in the ring for those 6 rounds, and came home with a black eye, think the best way to honor Gatti

Boxing has just taken another hit! Blasted!

    Arturo Gatti dead at 37.

Restlessness in spirit I dare pray not, be a twin of the manner by which it has left this mortal world. Rest in peace Arturo....

You will find it with your maker, young warrior, all our prayers for you and those that you have left behind!

I was telling Danny earlier today, that I wouldn't be surprised if his wife was the one to do it. They had a volatile relationship, and he was just arrested not to long ago for domestic abuse.

Now according to this article that I just found, she is a suspect.
