Him saying he hopes Khan gets brain damaged (if he did, I don't think he ever went that far) is him being a twat, not a racist. He generally seemed indifferent to Khan prior to the MAB fight, & then that fight drove him into a rabid Khan-hater & I think what happened with the fight made that worse. There is undoubtedly a racial element to boxing & how its fighters are treated by some, but I have to say it is significantly better than almost every other sport & calling people racist for any dislike is pathetic. I must hate Carl Froch simply because he's white I think I'll change my name to JazFarrukhan.

PS. can we stop pulling the 'pulling the race card' card any time anyone mentions race? Although in this case it was warranted, it's an easier cop-out than actually discussing the topic & than showing people up for the ridiculous accusations.
The brain damage thing sounds totally unlike anything I would say, so I have a hard time believing that I ever said that. I was a bit surprised by Mikay's initial post to be honest.

The second highlighted part is a pretty crude, but accurate appraisal of how my feelings to Khan have emerged. The Barrera fight was not a pleasant one for me to endure at all and had a devastating effect upon my mental equilibrium.
I didn't think it was like you to say something like that, but let's say you got drunk, were in a bad mood & wrote that, it would still not be you being a racist, just a knob. However, I doubt you said it unless he can prove otherwise. I do think you give Amir a hard time, but then my own illogical dislike for Lucian Bute after the Andrade fight means I can understand. I'd hate to think what would happen to you if he beat Hatton
Khan should basically stay away from fighters that I like if he ever wants the chance to grow on me. By fighting Barrera there was only ever going to be one fighter I was interested in seeing as the winner. Likewise, if he wants to fight Hatton the same thing is bound to happen. A victory over Hatton could have far reaching consequences. Hopefully that will never happen.
