I prefer boxing but I do think that UFC could teach boxing a thing or two. Theres 1 promoter, the match makers do their job well and a loss isnt the end of the world. In boxing its quite the opposite

We just got ultimate fighter 9 on the box out here ,there were three wicked fights betweenthe Americans on the elimination just to get into the house.
Its more raw and engaging at the lower levels sometimes.

Not the greatest Season of TUF to watch; not because us Yanks lost but because these guys get worse each season it seems. Though credit to the Brits they came to fight and were unified the whole way through; the US guys for the most part were snivelling nobs.

Entertainment is subjective. I enjoy watching both sports. Not b/c one sport has better athletes or the sport takes more skill or any of that shit, but I watch a lot more MMA now days b/c I think I get a better product for my money. I see more fights on free TV, I see more fights on PPV and barring a select few the fights that need to happen do happen. When people say they just don't enjoy watching it I understand, but when people over simplify it or attempt to take away from the tremendous skill and world class athleticism of MMA fighters it pisses me off.

Out of the 9 seasons this last one was definitely in the bottom 3. You can totally blame the American team for that as well. On average they had several more fights than their counterpart but looked really poor outside of Demarques. All the bitching and complaining really irritated me. I DVR'd the episodes and just fast forwarded to the fights every time.
