SADDOBOXING OFFICIAL RATINGS UPDATE - As of April 22, 2009

Jr. LIGHTWEIGHT:

Malcolm Klassen crashes the ratings at number two with his stunning seventh round stoppage of Cassius Baloyi who previously held that position. Baloyi drops two slots to four as he was thoroughly outclassed. Edwin Valero, Roman Martinez, Urbano Antillon, Jorge Barrios, Robert Guerrero & Mzonke Fana all move down one place to fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth & tenth respectively to accommodate Klassen’s entry and Baloyi’s fall. Nicky Cook (previously tenth) is forced from the ratings into the pool.

Jr. BANTAMWEIGHT:

Raul Martinez exits the pool after his crushing KO defeat at the hands of number two-ranked Flyweight Nonito Donaire.

FLYWEIGHT:

Hugo Cazares (eighth last time) exits as he is ranked at Jr. Bantam (number ten) due to his win over Roberto Vasquez (number nine at bantam). Omar Salado moves up to fill the gap at number eight. Moruti Mthalane moves from the pool to number nine based on his solid albeit losing performance against number two-rated Nonito Donaire and a recent victory. Zolani Tete also debuts at number ten on the strength of his first round knockout of Rexon Flores.

Jr. FLYWEIGHT:

Brian Viloria rockets from the pool into number two with his spectacular KO of Ulises Solis who plummets from two to four. Edgar Sosa moves up to three, Giovanni Segura, Cesar Canchila, Omar Romero, Juan Carlos Reveco & Juanito Rubillar all drop a rung to fill spots five through nine respectively. Hugo Cazares (previously ninth) exits here as well, because he is ranked at Jr. Bantam and it’s more than likely he will not return to this weight. Number ten remains vacant.

STRAWWEIGHT:

Denver Cuello enters the pool with recent KO win.
