once again england doing their absoloute upmost to cock up a winning comanding position.

Collingwood just played the most ridiculous shot and ive no doubt now with an hour left what should be 370-3 odd will now end up with us around 360-7 putting australia right back into pole position

Yeah, could be. Really impressed with Strauss today, he's been a rock. The middle order always get themselves in and then they get out.

Jeez, Prior goes just as I speak!

exactly any other country in the world and you would say 450 is par from here

But this is england we are talking about, only 10 overs left but we could quite easily be all out by the end of play with our history!!

Yep, baby steps are more appropriate here. Was that another wicket? Aargh!

Unbeliebable. Imploding at the speed of light! The lower order were gritty last time out, let's hope they are again. This is shocking.

I haven't looked at the scores or the game other than this thread but all I'll say is don't get your hopes up. If the wicket is so good England can get 500 the Aussies will get 800. Whatever we do they'll do better. We're the sixth-best cricket team in the world according to the rankings, behind Sri Lanka, roughly as good as New Zealand. Sorry to be such a miserable bastard but come on, it's the England cricket team. I'm just trying to ignore the whole Ashes thing as it's just not going to go well for us.
