I have watched and it's sucks. The WWE looks more believable. They throw some dude on the canvas then pound his ass. Then it's over. Who ever throws the other guy first wins. How gay is that? Boxing is art, It's skill and talent. MMA is B.S.
Hey watch I can do it too....Boxing is just two guys with no shirts on slapping each other with pillows on their hands then hugging half the round when they are tired. Anybody can master just one sport. Mixed martial artists have to be trained in several disciplines....Sounds kind of ignorant doesn't it? Just to point out some world class athletes in MMA
Fedor- World Sambo Champion
Yoshida- Olympic Gold Medalist in Judo
Akiyama- World Judo Champion
Couture/Henderson- Olympic Greco Roman Wrestlers
Coleman/Randleman/Lesnar etc- NCAA All American Wrestlers and Champions
Mark Hunt- K1 Gran Prix Kickboxing Champion
BJ Penn- World BJJ Champ
Monson- Abu Dhabi Champ
Mirko Filipovic- K1 Kickboxer
hmmm...Looks like some pretty decorated athletes. You don't find the sport entertaining we get it but to suggest that it's top practitioners are not world class athletes who posses a tremendous amount of skill that spans multiple fighting disciplines is flat out ignorant. You want to talk about MMA please stay and post but if your sole purpose is to come to the forum to bash fighters who go out and give it there all then go back to the boxing forum I am sure you will find plenty of people to validate your feelings of insecurity.
Most bad government has grown out of too much government. Thomas Jefferson
I think you've only seen Royce Gracie in his good years to say something like that, it's pretty much different now and more than often, the guy on the canvas knows how to survive a charge, many are even able to submit the guy on the top. I have no problems with you not liking it but your statement is completely untrue.

That's the way it is, not the way it ends
I do respect MMA, and I do watch it sometimes, but boxing is still aesthetically more pleasing to me.
But there is another thing I notice. That MMA attracts certain demographics of society more. For instance most fans are 18-30 years old and Orientals and whites seems to be the biggest fans of this sport. It's just an observation, nothing more nothing less.
