I met Hartson a long while ago when the welsh team stoped off in my village one sunday for a few pints.
He was very drunk but singed every thing put in front of him.

My Dad had a drink with him at a pub whilst he was playing for West Ham, which as we're West Ham supporters & as a kid I thought it was great that my Dad had drunk with Hartson & sat next to Slaven Bilic on a plane to Croatia. Said he was a really cool guy (about Bilic as well) & was keen to talk about football. Most footballers now would probably be busy having sex with 15 year old boob jobs from Essex to actually talk to fans
Lol, there seem to be a fair few stories about people meeting Hartson in pubs. I hope he recovers for both him & his family, there's more hope to it these days, & he's actually become one of the better writers of all the ex-footballers
Best wishes to him, vid of some of his goals, could only find Celtic ones was looking for a beauty he got for West Ham once. The goals at 1:14 & at the 2min mark are a pair that we'd be going crazy over if Rooney got em

Best of luck to him and family.Cancer is a heartless bastard that steals the old and young alike.
Shocking news. Loved the way he kicked his team mate in the head when he was down.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
the most vicious part is the brain cancer... very tricky to cure, all my thoughts with him and hopefully he'll get through.
