one thing i dont want to happen is if pbf demands the lions share on pac. its pretty obvious now that pac should be getting the upper hand money wise. if pbf wants it he should agree to pacs terms not his. if he still insists to get the lion share then thats an indication that pbf doesnt want to fight pac.

This is what I dont understand. Why should Pacquiao get the lions share?

In their 2 common bouts (against Oscar & Hatton) Mayweather's sales were double that of Pacquiao's. I'm not saying that Mayweather generated the buzz, because it's obvious Oscar & Hatton did more than their share. But shouldn't the fights with Pacquiao have blown away the numbers Mayweather did with the same guys? If Pacquiao brings more to the table than Mayweather, his fights with Oscar & Hatton should've crushed Mayweather's numbers. But he did only half.

The bottom line is profits and Mayweather does have more of a claim to generating more profits against their 2 recent common opponents than Pacquiao has.

We can say Pacquiao is the cash cow, but in black & white Mayweather has the proof. Mayweather's last 2 fights sold better than Pacquiao's last 2 & they were against the same 2 guys. Hard to deny facts.

Pacquiao can get the bigger half because he took down Mayweather's last two opponents in a more convincing fashion, he is CURRENTLY the P4P best fighter in the world, and whether people can admit it or not, more people are after a fight with Pacquiao than against Mayweather.

Mayweather can demand the bigger half because he did bigger numbers with the common opponents him and Pac had and Pac is P4P best because Floyd retired.

TBH, both fighters have proof and good reasons to demand the bigger split. I honestly think this fight is in trouble because neither man will be willing to budge. I would suggest a 50/50 split but who the hell am I in the boxing world? I say it over and over again about fights where purse is a big factor, give each fighter a guaranteed 45% and the other 10% goes to the winner.

Makes perfect sense to me.

Nobody can deny facts that are in black & white. The proof is right there for Mayweather to show he is involved in fights that drew more than Pacquiao.

If I were Mayweather I would be willing to give Pacquiao a boost in earnings because of the #1 position. But that's really the only thing he has on Mayweather.

I would absolutely be for a "winner takes the lions share" agreement. But Arum isn't stupid. I just dont think Arum wants to see Pacquiao take on Mayweather right now when he can make a few million with Cotto first & have to split it with nobody else. Politics.
