I really don't even care about the weight. Marquez is a smart man. He knows his limitations. He won't put himself at a disadvantage. If he thinks he can be effective at 147 and agrees to the weight than so be it

Agreed. I might not like it for whatever reasons, in the Cotto/Pac sit. or this one, but I've said in the end those guys know what's best and, if they can handle it, ultimately who cares. They're good fights and the fighters get paid well.

I love the whole rib injury (slow ticket sales) talk. I don't understand why Floyd can't say anything about it. He's a terrible liar.

Plus, this whole weigh-in being a huge event just because we all want to know the weight is a silly marketing ploy IMO. People want to see a good fight, even a tactical battle, not an exciting weigh-in.
