Well I hate to be all "Donny Downer" on the forum, but I think this topic is big in this sport, we've had so many All-Time Greats and Champions that have had tough lives inside and outside the ring and I think it helps explain why boxing is not only a sport, but it's like a family.

Actually Chuvalo had 3 sons that died from drug overdoses and his wife commited suicide just a week or so after her 2nd son was buried.

The Hilton family (Matthew, Alex & Davey) was pretty sad. All 3 bothers had world class skills but drugs, booze, jail, etc ruined there chances.

How about Tony Ayala Jr.? Most people said he could have been an all-time great and was on the brink of some huge fights before he went to jail.

Tyson is huge tragady, the guy lost/spent/stolen from like $300mil, his prime was way to short and I think he robbed us of seeing one of the best heavy's of all-time.

The Forrest one was very sad. I remember see the HBO boxing deaths special about the deaths of Forrest, Gatti and Arguello. Tragic end. Sanders too, wasn't he protecting his daughter or something?

Yeah Forrest should have not pursued those guys. You can always get another watch. Corrie got it in a restaurant I think while dining with family. I was really gutted when Arguello killed himself. Its always the guy that you think would never do it that does. I hate to be a cynic but I still suspect Gatti's wife.

What about Tyson Fury singing after a fight ?
Or Tyson Fury being denied the chance to face David Haye due to theatrical makeup / intentionally cutting himself.
