He's still ring-rated, he beat Maidana who battered Ortiz & he's a very difficult fighter to look good against, but Khan managed it (although not to the extent that Jim Watt was rubbing one out over Khan's performance). He may not have landed great but he still landed better than Kotelnik who everyone was saying is an accurate puncher & almost impossible to hit. I mean even if you don't like the guy, you have to give him some credit for that performance, he fought smart, did actually get a few decent shots on Kotelnik & took a couple as well. It wasn't a classic fight, but it was never going to be.

Few things to note though, no way did Khan take every round, I had it 117-111, giving Kotelnik the 4th which could've gone either way, that 120-108 was a joke. That PPV ended up being shit. I was happy with the Hall-Small fight which was intriguing & was glad my local boy Smallie won, but seeing 3 guys having their 3rd fights as the main undercard takes the piss. Why did we not get to see Brook-Lomax, a far more significant fight, or Enzo almost gettin blinded? Kell Brook has a hell of a lot more promise than any of the Olympians & was actually fighting a dangerous opponent who he dealt with in 3. As for Jim Watt, this guy has been pissing me off for years, anyone who thinks he got up Khan's arse should listen to him during the Hatton-Mayweather fight when he appeared to suggest after the KO that the judges could have had Ricky ahead

Sky should just dispose of their entire team & bring in the Setanta Sports lot. Rawling & Woodhall were always pretty good especially compared to the Sky lot.
A disgrace mate, i dont know why Sky ever split up the Darke/Mccrory partnershp up I loved watching them two do the big fights.

Warren is a tosser, how can he not have especially Kell Brook on the live slot if for anything a marketing ploy as he is looking like the most talented younger fighter we have in the UK, surely this would give him great exposure and have people talking, but no Frank would rather show " the olypians " against local bin men, ok De Gale id give him a slot on the live show as he is a gold medalist and is well known to jo public, but lets be honest any average punter probably cant even remember Saunders being at the Olympics he was knocked out so early in the event, and Gavin didnt even start the Olympics.

The Tv slot should of had Enzo,Brook,De Gale,Small and Khan fights would of been much better viewing, fuck there three fighters until they have stepped it up If it means watching breaking through stars like Brook.

Well those who know me know im not a kahn lover. I think the way boxing is in general nowadays is terrible, Kahn is a cash cow and warren is milking it to the max. He bypassed domestic level top fighters got found out and knocked out by an unknown. But came back against a drunk irishman. Then a blind old dwarf mexican. And moved away from the danger zone lightweight division, to fight a solid AVERAGE operator. Safety trip to the world title. Sad. I dont know his next move. I did read morales? Another legend well past his best. I dont think it will be maidana. He still hasnt proved anything to me. Sorry kahn fans.

I agree mate, I'm sure every British fightfan would have rather watched Enzo and Kell Brook fight in what were meaningful and by all accounts entertaining.

I mean Enzo was involved in the biggest British fight of the millenium just a couple years ago and now he gets KO'd by an unbeaten cruiserweight menace and its not even on the telly? And Michael Lomax is a decent operator and so Kell had on paper a tough task, and if he would have come unstuck that would have been another significant fight we would have missed.

You made me laugh with the Billy Joe Saunders, because I can't remember him from the Olympics at all.

I'm sure Sky isn't stupid and their team knows full well the likes of Brook and Enzo would be what the fightfans WANT to see so why do they not get on the show?

My guess is contracts. The Olympians are probably contracted to have their fights televised and well publicised as part of their signup deal with Frank Warren.

If I was Brook or Enzo though I simply wouldn't have fought on that card. If I'm a former world champ or a hot prospect British rising star there is no way I'm fighting on the non televised portion of a 10 plus fight undercard.

You can fuck right off with that one, make me the headliner on a Friday Fight Night on a different date thankyou very much.

Sine Enzo lost I think he did not mind his fight not being shown.
