I still buy it. Got to support the bible of boxing. However, magizines in general have become less relevant in this new digital age.

Who needs it? In my opinion, the online writers are better than the ones who write for the Ring, and its rankings suck to the max (where is Juan Manuel Lopez?). Their writers are tied into the BWAA which in turn is tied into the International Boxing Hall of Fame, and that makes me very sketchy about who is beholden to whom. Moreover, The Ring is now owned by you know who.
The whole thing has an odor of spoiled tuna to it. I won't give them a penny for it.![]()

I download it, the same with all magazines. In this economy I'm trying to cut costs here and there.

Depends on the month and if the mag is worth keeping after reading.....
I get all the boxing news I need off the net or in my email from promoters no need to pay $7 for out of date news

I would love for somebody to specifically point out just one single writeup, ad, ranking, favorable article ANYTHING AT ALL that has changed since Golden Boy bought Ring Magazine?!!? It's such a BS accusation. Isn't it better that somebody who gives a crap about boxing owns the mag as opposed to some corporating that just views it as a numbers of subscrptions or ad revenue?
I have been buying Ring Mag since 1990 and have boughten past issues off EBay and now have a complete collection going back to Jan 1970. I still buy it every month and read it from cover to cover.
