No. Never. Nobody beats Hatton that night. Not with the ref in his pocket like he was.

Anne Wolfe may have beat him; she's pretty tough and wouldn't have felt that crushing, reproductive organ destroying low blow.

I think Hatton would have held up a bit more though see a similiar result down the stretch. To much hand and foot speed.I think Hatton walks into a ceiling fan.

Yes. Hatton got through Tszyu's shots because he doesn't throw combinations anywhere near as quickly as Pacquiao

    Yes he could

if it was in a british ring with a british ref and hatton was allowed to fight his fight im pretty sure a prime ricky would of beaten a prime mosley/pacquiao/mayweather etc

But once you get to america you find yourself having to stand and trade as any other form of combat is deemed illegal. Pac would of eaten hattons forward lunges all night long and would take out ricky 7 days a week, 365 days a year!!

No question in my mind - If he could eat Tszyus right hand all night long, he'd of taken Mannys shots equally well imo.

kostya got roughed up that night big time and despite a few spells between rounds 3 and 5 couldnt get his shots off because hatton persistently cut the distance from both fighters off.

As ive already said if it was a similar scenario hatton would own manny and probably end up stopping him. But if its a clean US style boxing contest mannys speed would win out all the time

Dream on at your own peril!

The "IF" scenarios that every envious boxing fan can paint Pacquiao as the loser is endless.

Deal with reality, and drop those "IF" scenarios, then you'd find it more constructive to put a halt in dwelling in the past.

You would have learned to contain your "hate" to a less than a destructive level, to then allow moving onward. Instead of being stuck from emotional debacles dealt in the past, this choice is not so difficult at all.

    Alarming exodus of haters, whenever....!

It's kind of funny that only the British believe in this.

I think we should start a new thread on "what if Ricky Hatton fought in Great Britain with British refs and British judges and with the form that he was in the Kostya fight would he beat Manny, FLoyd, and Mosley?"

I think that would be a great thread.

Well, that's why its called boxing. The sport you seem to think Hatton should have taken part in is either wrestling of MMA.

Hatton could have his mum refereeing & he still gets taken to pieces by Mosley, Pacquiao or Mayweather. He was prime, at least against Mayweather, & he got given a true boxing lesson. Although of course it's all Joe Cortez/the weight/Boxing rules' fault
