    Default R.I.P. Marco Nazareth

According to reports coming out of Mexico, Marco Nazareth (4-4, 3KOs), 23-years-old, passed away early this morning as a result of injuries suffered in his tko loss to Omar Chavez (16-0) in Mexico on July 18. There is a youtube of the stoppage, but what is to be gained by seeing it? Chavez had beaten Marco in 2008 and the scortes were judge: Juan Ocampo 38-39 | judge: Marco Antonio Rodriguez 37-39 | judge: Rafael Saldana 37-39.

That shot to the top of the head look like the most damaging blow. It was good to see Omar and his dad at the hospital showing support to the family. RIP

    Horrible news....R.I.P. man.

Someone tell me why this 4-4 guy is fighting a 16-0 prospect after he already lost to him once before; though not in the same fasion granted. Seems kind of senseless to me; could have gotten him some more experience

    Another tragedy

Damn that was very sad to watch. That shot on the top of the head did seem to affect him; but in the video that is 5:25 long they show a slow motion hit he took at 5:13; that one was brutal.

He seeme in the vid after thee fight to get progressively worse in the corner until he collapsed; very, very sad. That's a fukking shame.

    Sad, sad news.

R.I.P. Marco Nazareth, may you find eternal peace.

It seemed like these ring tragedies have lately been getting stringed-up too closely together. The frequency is alarming, and I know this is not an over reaction!

There are no bums nor heartless participants once inside of the ring.
