Yep, I was more concerned about the ridiculous amount of time it is taking him to follow up the fight with Barrett. Fighting Valuev is probably a more sensible option. It's a much more winnable fight and gives him a lot more leverage against the Klits if he wins. And the closer Vitali gets to 40 with his creaky body the better the odds are for Haye in that. He has a nightmare trying to beat any of the brothers right now with only Barrett under his belt at heavyweight.
Yeah without doubt this year has been a complete fuck up for Haye. And without doubt he's given people the ammunition by pulling out of the fights and obviously shit-talking.

But considering everyone on earth expected Vitali to kill him - what was the point of the fight?

Better to see him in some 50/50-winnable ones first. And should Valuev beat him the Haye haters will be able to laugh twice as loud.

Well, well, well....I can't say I am surprised. Sure people will say the Klitschko's drove too hard of a bargin, but the ball was in their court and David was at their mercy, after all the talk and all the hype, David decided to take his ball and go home. It's now 8 months since David Haye's introduction to being a full time heavyweight and he has had only the fight vs Monte Barrett...Wladimir has fought twice and Vitali has fought once in the ring and once in court since November 2008...my point is even the CHAMPIONS of the division have been more active than David Haye at heavyweight, which shouldn't happen...hell even Nicolay Valuev has fought more recently than David Haye! That is just fucking sad.

The good news is we'll more than likely get to see Vitali-Cris Arreola which will be a good solid fight, one which the fans will want to see and one where both sides shouldn't have much to argue about at the negotiating table. Hell at this point, I would even leave the Oleg Maskaev option open at this point in time...might as well get some rounds in.

David Haye has gone out of his way to be a prick just to get a shot at one of the Klitschko's only to back out both times he's had the chance to fight them. Seems to me David Haye may want a belt, but he doesn't want to actually have to fight Wlad or Vitali to get one. While I think this Valuev fight is faaaaar better for his career, I think the way he has gone about his business is an absolute joke. I think perhaps at the last minute he was talked out of fighting Vitali by his management who knew like everyone else that he didn't stand a chance. Sure Valuev is big, but I have my doubts about his ability to take a shot and he damn sure can't punch, BUT I still think the big oaf should be the betting favorite as #1 He's hard to beat on the cards and #2 We don't know how David will react to getting hit or just the sheer size of Valuev, that may cause David problems.

And now you'll get your chance, a no talent 7 foot heavyweight vs a chinny loudmouthed cruiserweight....no, it's not Julius Long vs Enzo Maccarinelli, but you might think that if the names were left out of this.

A Bisping/Hatton type KO is too good for David Haye...that is what he has accomplished with all his talk and all his hype, he has made me want to see him litterally tortured in the ring! I want to see a Oleg Maskaev-Hasim Rahman I KO...I want Haye to get sparked, fall through the ropes, and right into Jim Lampley's lap and to be honest I don't give a shit who does it, I'd even be happy if John Ruiz did it....that is how much I hate David Haye, I abhor David Haye!

...people are more disgusted with the way David went about signing on for the Valuev fight and given Haye's recent history I wouldn't be so certain that this fight is going to happen.

When David steps in the ring with somebody AND the bell rings, THEN AND ONLY THEN I will believe this fight is going to happen.

I think this is a great move for Haye. With exception to the delusional Haye fanboys, everyone knows that Klitschko would smash Haye.

Valuev is a fight he can actually win, and if he does win, it will add more suspense to the day when he does actually get smashed by one of the klitschkos.

Yeah those people like you are disgusted by anything Haye does though.

I was wondering who do love the most out of Vitali and Wlad? Wlad, right?

well this is definitely a more winnable fight for Haye than againsteither of the Klitschko. Will believe the fight will happen when hes in the ring. All getting a bit tiresome now. Haye needed to have fought at least once this year before any title opportunity

Werent most of you diks crying that Arreola deserved his shot against Vitali and not Haye?? Well now it looks like Arreola will get his shot and Haye will fight Valuev/ I dont understand the problem

Now you have a bigger set up fight with this, you clowns should be happy haye is going to beat Valuev, a guy who wouldnt fight a kindergardner or an old lady bagging groceries. This fight should haye win actually opens up the division properly. Because in any of these scenarios its win win. You'll have either both Klitschkos or Arreola,Wlad and Haye hows that for exciting/ Well maybe 2 out of 3 fighters exciting isint bad

Didn't everybody say they want to see Haye fight a couple more heavyweights before the Bitchsko's ? Yes they did. Lyle said it would hype the Bitchsko fight up more and would give Haye more experience. Aint shiit wrong with what he's doing. You want to have heard what the contract was if he fought Vitali Bitchsko. Immediate rematch, then Wladimir then Uncle Bitchsko gets wheel chaired into the ring. Almost like they would be promoting Haye. Haye has done a smart move here.

This is getting interesting again. So now we should leave Haye alone for bitching out of fighting the Klitschko's and taking a more reasonable bout with Valuev. I wasn't shooting my mouth off saying basically I am the saviour of the heavyweight division. I will decaputate the Klitschko brother's because they are so boring and they have ruined the heavyweight division. So the saviour is going to fight who? Valuev? All I can say is WOW what a true champion.

That contract was never fair. And the 2 Bitchsko's know it. They know Haye smashes them so they want an immediate rematch.
