There is an old expression' the more things change the more they stay the same' , I remeber reading the tabloids in the UK and taking what was in them with a pinch of salt.
Now we have the glorious internet which not only allows the 'porsessionals ' a new medium but people like all of us on here. How easy is it to get a thread going by saying'I just heard that so and so said this or that ' OK most will start to ask for the origin of the story but some will just take you at your word.

I always wait to see an interview or hear it on radio, and i always look and listen for the usual amount of creative editing, if an interview looks like it's been cut you can pretty much bet it's not entirley accurate.

I think we are all to blame by being too busy in life to look a bit deeper into things, we just do everything on the go and accept a lot of what we are told. Problem is with more specialised news such as specific sports are not going to be widely covered so we have to just accept a lot of what we are told.

Have I just become a conspiracy theorist !!!
