Default Guys who haven't fought this year, that should have

    1. David Haye, The hot topic right now, bottom line he hasn't stepped into the ring this year.

    2. Sergio Mora, talking about some politics waiting on Pavlik or something? Just get in the ring.

    3. Mikkel Kessler, seemed a sure thing to be the man at 168 after Calzaghe retired, but good ol Palle seemed determined to turn him into the next Ottke

    4. B-Hop, had a definite amazing performance against Pavlik thought for sure he would be looking to fight again, maybe he's retired, maybe not.

    5. Sakio Bika, was running back up the 168 ladder, won the Contender took a token against Manfredo Jr. and then a long vacation. According to boxrec he's fighting a speedbump in an 8 rounder this month, seems completely not worth it.

    6. Guillermo Jones, after a great tough bout ending in a stoppage of Firat Arslan has hit the stop button.

    7. Floyd Mayweather, yes he currently has a fight scheduled against JMM but I really wish he would have stayed in the fray this year.

    Help me with some others.

You could basically add pavlik to that list.. he fought a scrub in february, big deal..

Although there have been a handful of decent fights, this year, so far, has sucked completely for boxing.. so many fights canceled, postponed.. this board has gone down hill this year due to this.

Casamayor seems like he should have come back by now.

I disagree on PBF & B-Hop, Mayweather was retired & though I would have liked to see him fight, it seems he will at least soon so I think he gets a pass on that. Hopkins I give a pass to because I really think he's retired, but he's taken his time telling us. I reckon he'll announce it on the back of a Golden Boy fight, maybe Diaz-Malignaggi as he wasn't at the Ortiz fight. If I'm right about that I will send you a PM to gloat

Oh & Izzy has been inactive almost as long as Mayweather & doesn't seem to be coming back anytime soon

I believe Izzy mentioned something about coming back, but his wars with Marquez definately will leave him as damaged goods.

Israel Vazquez suffered a detached retina in his third fight with Marquez. It took three surgeries to fix and he was finally medically cleared to begin training in mid May of this year. Although he has been cleared to trained, he hasn't been cleared to fight yet.

Joachim Alcine and Daniel Santos seem to have disappeared after the division got hot.

Good one on Guzman, super dissapointing to me, because I expected so much from him. Quintana was supposed to fight on FNF about 3-4 months ago and backed out.

    Ricardo Mayorga.

I really wish he woulda gotten himself into shape and beat Angulo.

Instead Cintron got the chance and did it.

....the one that always bugged the hell out of me even before David Haye came along was Rock Allen....that dude takes his sweet ass time between fights....but even HE has fought this year, unlike the aforementioned David Haye
