I met Henry Cooper when I was a kid and he was doing promotions in a store, he tore a piece of cardboard off a display to give me his autograph as I didn't have any paper.

It was 100 years ago so no mobile phone for a pic

this is a cool story - especially with it being such a random meeting and catching you by surprise.

Have heard from people on facebook that he is a really approachable guy - guess he has plenty of time for chat with him not being in the ring so much

Tommy Hearns walked through the bar I was in in Vegas befor Mayweather Hatton fight. I was that dumbstruck and caught by surprise I kind of just stuck out my hand and he shook it - I completely forgot about the pen and camera I had with me....(I often groan when I think back about that missed opportunity).
