Honestly... I've been waiting for his return. He gave up when he saw that in the first few rounds he couldn't get past Wlad's jab but he was probably #2 to Wlad at the time as Vitali was not back in action yet. He had quick feet for the modern Heavies and quick hands... He could put his punches together and was a skilled boxer... Sultan's not getting much love on here.

His cousin Timor is still fighting. I doubt that'll make you feel better

Sultan was a very capable fighter, he wasn't close to being big enough, but I figure he could have been a top contender for a few more years.

I had no idea Tyson was a converted leftie. Knew Frazier was but frankly as a former amateur boxer I really can't understand the whole concept of converting from one's natural stance to the other. As a right hander, my left hook would have been better than my right hook. I did switch off once or twice in fights just to throw the other guy off but my right jab sucked just to be honest.

I'm glad I was wrong, there are still plenty of good fights out there for him.

I heard they were setting up one of those support lines for distressed fans like they did when Take that split up.

This news is gonna be hard to take for some!

I'm glad he's coming back. He's a legitimate Heavyweight with a decent resume. The division needs all the top fighters it can get.

A Sultan-Chagaev fight wouldn't be horrible....Sultan could also give Sam Peter a tough fight. Hell a rematch with Ray Austin wouldn't be horrible....all I want to see when I see heavyweights are guys who fight smart. Heavyweight is the ONLY division where a guy like Butterbean or any no name no talent Toughman can come in and win enough fights to get a title shot....at some point in time in all the other weight classes you come across somebody with some boxing knowledge and talent and they will whup you....not true in the heavyweight division.
