She originally said she stayed the night, at the beach apartment, not knowing that he was murdered. She said she found him in the morning and admitted that it was a murder because 1) she denied being the murderer and 2) she tried to blame the murder on intruders that could have followed gatti from the bar where he had arguments with other patrons. The brazilian press had her stating that it was a murder. Now it's a suicide. Murder suicide it's all the same in brazil.

I've also seen rucksack strap in articles instead of purse strap. I've seen that people were throwing rocks at Gatti and that caused the injury to the back of his head. I think that clearly there are lots of conflicting reports and that we'll still end up with two different theories, the Brazilian/wife's version and the US/Gatti family version. Yep, severe bruises apparently and he says that there is other major "avoidances" that the prosecutors in Brazil didn't mention, he doesn't even have the toxicologist report yet, which should be provided this week normally by OUR toxicologists in Montreal, and he'll talk more about the apparently steak knife stab behind the head, sounds like it's getting more and more fishy, especially after the report that Gatti was forced/convinced by his wife to change his will 3 weeks before and to put everything to her name in case of his death...
