I like the looks of them also. They only do hatchbacks on sub compact cars here now though.

Thats a pretty sharp ride Dean.I'm thinking about trading in for the benefits of more gadgets,blue tooth etc....Warranty expires Tuesday.You can't go wrong with Ford,especially in this market.

Well the RS when it arrives to these shores next year will cost $30,000+. For that money you can a much more substantial car over here. I also prefer a 4 door car.


The car I got is not necessarily streamlined, but it's not boxy either.

I think the car you chose looks very nice, besides you're the one driving it and as long as you're paying for it, it doens't matter what others think. IMO... Sounds like you got your monies worth out of your Focus!!

i test drove last years model about a year ago and went w/ the Mazda3.. love it and really happy with it all together.. did you test drive it? it was the most fun to drive out of every car i tested, so i went with it.

I looked at them but never test drove one. The sticker price drove me away. I wanted one loaded and the price was like 6K more than the ford. I could have gotten one with less options, but I wanted toys this time around!hehe

I figured the Ford was half Mazda anyway, although those 2010 models look incredible.

i have the 2008 and of course i'm a bit bias but i like my model better than the newer ones.. the 2008 looks more sportier and the new 4 door looks more like a family car.. i think the sticker on my car was 18k? the newer ones may be a bit more expensive.
