I'm not doubting either of their abilities, but neither of them had too many 'Great' wins

Trinidad best wins - Vargas, Sweet P (way past his best), Reid (another Lacy)

Tszyu - Zab, Ruelas, Tackie, Mitchell

    Can't split them tbh

Trinidad was exciting, however he was exposed against DLH and it is still bewildering how he got that decision.
I would have loved to have seen him fight Mosley, now that would have been a defining fight as it would have been for Tszyu. Both Mosley and DLH sidestepped Tszyu and thus denied KT his real moment in the sun, a Phillips rematch would have happened if not for Terron Millet beating Phillips in early 1999 paving the way for a Tszyu V Gonzalez fight instead. Both fighters have left great legacies, it was a shame Trinidad couldn't stay at 147 or 154 and it was a shame Tszyu never got his Mega fight with Mosley, DLH or Floyd.

Legacy is a tall order but rightly or wrongly I think that the Phillips & Hatton fights will hang over Kostya...sadly its not the first time in which a guys lone defeats have a lasting effect.I think Tszyu was an all around better, more in depth boxer but Tito was far more exciting, better competition (Tszyu was no slouch Laporte,Lopez,Mayweather,Sanchez were all capable as well) but it was no contest as far as massive huge fight exposure and the all-mighty star power.Jones jr chased that scalp for yeeaarrs before he finally got it.

Gotta go with Tito. Mainly because the quality of guys he beat and he only lost to ATG fighters.

    Tito Trinidad. No doubt.

Aside from the fighters mentioned, he also beat Yory Boy Campas at a time when I believe Campas was at 55-0 (53 KO's) or somethin crazy like that.

    Tito was a phenom.

Not Kostya's fight that no one wanted to fight him at 140 now is it?

I gotta go with Trinidad too. Only thing I can say for KT is he didn't continue this stupid back and forth back and forth retirement deal that Felix did that netted losses to Wright and Jones.

Kosya Tysyu because he stayed retired and didn't make a fool out of himself like Tito did against Roy. On the other hand, going out on a stool is not the greatest thing either.

David Reid was alot more talented than Jeff Lacy, he was an Olympic gold medalist and had plenty of talent. Its just he was rushed into Felix Trinidad fight, because of his eye problem which wouldn't of lead to a long career anyway.

Also what about ODLH, Freddie Pendleton, William Joppy, Ricardo Mayorga, Hector Camacho, Maurice Blocker ?

Lastly its gotta be Felix Trinidad, he had more classic and exciting fights. And he will be remember more than Kostya Tszyu, who never quite got the fights he probably should have.

Trinidad easily for me, I personally feel that Tszyu's achievements are possibly the most overrated in boxing. He looked a hell of a fighter, but there wasn't too much definitive opposition there for me. Although for me, there is a slight question mark over some of Trinidad's achievements because of the 'hand-wrap' controversy. Not on a Margarito level, but it still irks at me a bit.
