You can't throw out a statement like that without justifying it.

    Name the nine in front?
maybe not so much top 10 but honestly don't see how anyone could have ever had him in top 5, all the following should have always been ranked above the quitter

    in no specific order
    Hatton
    Torres
    Holt
    Bailey
    Malignaggi
    Urango
So you'd rank Randall Bailey, Juan Urango and Ricardo Torres over Witter
Urango although completely one dimensional did a hell of a lot more than Witter, so yea, sorry, beating Harris and Corely especially at the point he did is far from impressive, i'd rate Urango's win over Ngoudjo higher than any win Witter has had
try as you will, Witter is crap, and that, is a FACT

See.. you've only got 6 names, that's why it's silly to make statements like that.

Apart from Hatton, none of those guys have any better form at 140 than Witter.

Can you explain what makes them better?

Yes! Surely the belt is online for the upcoming mega fight between Pacquaio and Cotto.
Who will win? Let see on the boxing date.

i say the catchweight is not in favor of pac he doesnt have an edge really. cause at fight night cotto will weigh at whatever weight he wants to.

catchweight is there just to even things out, odlh agreed to a catchweight and all of us thought the he will pummel pac. so we were fine about it only until after the fight.

people whinned that pac manipulated dlh to go down too low so he has the upper hand. if dlh won that fight nobody will ever mention the catchweight thing.

A welterweight boxer weighs in at between 140lbs and 147lbs.
if lets say pac won the belt and clottey wants a match both of them can fight between 140lbs to 147lbs. since pac is smaller and clottey is bigger then the catchweight comes in to even the fight out.

is it really hard to understand?

either which way im glad pac will fight a bigger boxer, unlike others who will just pick on smaller or dominate a lower weight class which everybody knows he can. atleast pac is up to the challenge.

takes a hell of a lot more than that crap to wind me up, and back to the Kwitter crap, all of the fighters i named have shown MORE consistancy then him, not that they don't fuck up once in a while, cause every fighter has, but Kwitter seems to fuck up every time that he has a chance to shine, just like Harris did, on his best night yea, he's more skilled than Bailey, Torres, and Urango, but even on his best night i'm sure Torres and Urango would spark him and Bailey would be a 50/50, at this point i'd honestly pick Khan over himi, and everyone on here knows i don't think much of him either

Puerto Rico vs. the Philippines, it is on for WBO title Nov. 14, 145 pounds

Paymaster Bob Arum is so concerned about the continuing brouhaha over the Manny Pacquiao-Miguel Cotto super bout that he is sunning himself in the South of France.

I spoke to Arum Sunday night as he was visiting South African business mogul Sol Kerzner,
Earlier this past week, Arum did some hiking in Aspen.

While much of Pacland and Cottoland has been in turmoil about whether the Puerto Rican’s WBO welterweight title strap will be on the line and what the contractual weight agreement will be,
Arum says everyone should take a sip of a good French wine and maybe a chill pill.

According to Uncle Bob, negotiations, misunderstandings and controversy attendant to that the foregoing are all ancient history now.

Arum expects to have contracts signed by both challenger Pacman and champion Cotto by Tuesday which is Aug. 11.

Tickets for the mega bout at the MGM Grand will go on sale, Arum told me, on Aug, 17. The general public only has a shot at about 3,000 unspoken for tickets.

“Everything has been decided and agreed to,” Arum said. “Cotto is defending the title and the weight limit be 145 pounds,. There are no disagreements or problems. Now, everything is cleared up.”

Arum’s friend, Kerzner, is hoping that Pacquiao will choose to begin his training for the Cotto bout at his Atlantis Resort in Nassau, Bahamas.

Arum said that decision--Bahamas, Vancouver or Mexico--will be solely made by Pacquiao.

Coach Freddie Roach has suggested that his charge start training in the leafy, cool climes of Baguio, Philippines, where the elevation goes up to 5,100 feet.

It would be really cool if Pac decided to train in Vancouver.

so 145 lbs. it is, we can already look forward to the fight.

Cotto so confident he can make the weight and sees no problem.

    No excuse for being dehydrated
