Genaro Hernandez Update

I came across this today...very hard to read. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family during this difficult time. Genaro was a very good fighter who never backed down from a challenge, and Im sure he is handling this with the same fighting spirit.

Praying for the man....I'll tell you.I picked up the recent issue of Boxing Illustrated and it really hits you in the gut.....They had a pic of Hernandez alongside George Kimball and both were receiving the 'Bill crawford:Courage in overcoming award.

Seeing him from early 90's and I had to do a double take.Hard stuff! But there he was with that ever present huge smile,poor guy missing his hair and rail thin.But still smiling

there's a mistake in the article though, if they're referring to Carlos "El Famoso" Hernandez, he's not Mexican, he's from Elsalvador

Let's hope some boxers with good heart and earning millions of dollars to help him with his hospitalization
