I agree! People always like to badmouth boxing because they say there are too many belts, etc. & the UFC just likes the best guys to fight each other. Now Manny & Cotto plan to fight @ 145 & that fight will help determine who's one of the better fighters from 140-145 so having the WBO or IBA belt on the line won't make that fight any better or worse for me.

Too many belts, too many different boxing commissions, too many politics within each organization (and often dirty politics at that). There needs to be one organization that oversees ALL boxing, perhaps an international boxing organization with bureaus in each country with uniform rules, etc.

You can already buy the belts i think the WBC is about £2000 lol.

These belts just make boxing less credible. It doesn't help when you can even get a belt a catchweight. I love the sport of boxing but this sport does not respect its own fans.
