I calculate that there are approximately 264 welterweight champions in a division that contains 1023 fighters. A quarter of the fighters are champions of various kinds. Several organisations are now said to be developing championship bracelets and necklaces. One organisation is even said to claiming a fighter as the holder of the WTS codpiece. This is an unhealthy trend. Soon they will be putting belts in clothing outlets so that members of the non fighting general public will be able to pop out and buy their own belts. Just say no.
