Yeah, the first scorecard read out was 116-112 Hopkins Magnum.

Yes, Jerry Roth did. And so did I. It was even thru 8 rounds at 4 a piece. Then Hopkins dominated. The 11th could almost be a 10-8 rounds it was so bad. Rest assured it would have been if Taylor had been the one dominating. GOd I love crooked Judges!!!! :Originally Posted by Magnum

I DON'T UNDERSTAND ALL OF YOU PEOPLE, TAYLOR WON, NO ROBBERY, NO BULLSHAT, SO QUIT MAKING EXCUSES FOR HOPKINS, HE LOST!
Yeah Hulk, where you are wrong is scoring it even through the first 8.
Most of those rounds Hopkins did NOTHING OF NOTE AT ALL.

it was 115-113 hokins then for taylor 116-112 then 115-113Originally Posted by Greig

Taylor won fair and square. Â He won the majority of rounds. Â That's how boxing is scored. Â Personally, I expected a better effort from both of them. Â Hopkins gave Taylor way too much respect in the beginning.... Taylor failed to press his advantage in the end. Â Hopefully, a rematch would be of better quality.
titofan i respect you. find the link to what i said would happen in the fight and read it. that will explain your post here.Originally Posted by TitoFan
No Magnum that is incorrect.
One judge scored it 116-112 for Hopkins, the other 2 had it 115-113 for Taylor.

alright then. i was wrong. but the real problem here is to have it 115-113 for taylor that means you would have had to given him 7 of the first 8. i dont know about you but i didnt see a one-sided fight throught 8. (one judge had it 6-2 bc they gave taylor the 12th which is even bigger problem)Originally Posted by Greig
To respond to Tito Fan- What the Fook did Taylor do in those rounds. At times he won in rounds 1,2, 6 and 7 simply because B-hop was nearly in active and trying to bait Taylor into a right hand. But he won most of those rounds because of what Bernard didn't do and not for what he did. Also to give that guy the last round, you would have to be either Incompentent or Corrupt. You do not take an all time great Champ's Title by winning 5 rounds at best and then getting your ass beaten clearly and badly in the last 4 unamiously!!!! Fook that decision and Fook anyone who agrees with it. I may just leave the forum if more people do not speak up for Hopkins. Only a jealous Bernard H@tin Die hard Taylor fan could even fathom agreeing with such a disgraceful decision.

I have yet to see the fight, but when I do, I'll be sure to weigh in my decision.

I could see the first round going to hopkins.But...He didnt start to
out score Taylor until the last four rounds.
what about the 5th. it was obviously hopkins round. so then you would have had a draw.Originally Posted by AbnerMares
Magnum you got this guy and he knows it, so he will not respond. But you misewell give up trying to convince novice, bias, taylor fans that their boy lost. They know he did. Any way, this guy knows nothing about boxing, he gave the 1st to Hopkins! Taylor did win the first, I ' ll give him that. But he LOST the 3rd, possibly 4th, for sure 5th, and 8th. Then well we all know what happen after the 8th...B-hop took over!Originally Posted by Magnum

yes I have basically made all of his supporters run away today. but my point isnt to convince them but to make them face the truth. and if they are idiots it will show.Originally Posted by Hulk
