That's true. It can never be a win in my mind though and I will always discredit it whenever I see it raised as a positive tick on Amir's record. I don't really want to hijack the thread, so I will just leave it at that.

There is no reason not to fight Prescott and it is perhaps the most opportune moment. Prescott has been shown to be pretty straightforward and the 0 is gone, so why not try and settle the score?
But my opinion on the Barrera win is it should have been stopped after the 1st round and ruled a No contest the cut played a big part and that cant be denied.

Does anybody really care what Amir Kahn does?

Not sure how much it would prove now, since Prescott just lost a pretty one sided fight to Miguel Vazquez, who was a short notice replacement. Prescott got a bit exposed in that fight, so not sure how much weight it would carry if Kahn were to fight him again. Plus, I have a feeling that cockRoach won't take a chance of putting him in with any heavy hitters for awhile. I wouldn't be surprised if he wants Kahn to fight feather fisted Malignaggi next.

Kahn would beat Prescott 9 out of 10.

I like Roach, but this calling out of Morales doesn't sit well with me, especially considering Roach's stance when any of HIS fighters go on too long.

Of course he should (fighut Prescott), but they're not even mentioning him at the moment. But it does make sense that they wait as Roach (and now Khan even) admit that he's only a work in progress for the next few years, so it makes sense not calling out the main players for now, or even KLhan's Colombian boogeyman.

Absolutely I think he should rematch him. But I would have a double card with Amir as the main event and have Breidis fight on the undercard against someone he can look good against then have them rematch if they both win.

Can't believe he wants Morales he has never fought at light-Welterweight Khan needs to be thinking Prescott rematch or Bradley,Mallinaggi,Holt or Nate Campbell. Yes khan is still a young talent but he's also a world champion who has had 20 odd fights he needs to be stepping it up now his skills aren't going to get any better than they are now if he's not careful he will end up having 20 odd world title defences against past its and bums before moving on to fight legends past there best.

Prescott recently lost to a journey man. So his value has been lowered and to think when he was due to fight Edwin Valero I thought he had a chance. Hell !! After the Khan fight I thought he was the next Hitman Hearns, but like a lot of big punches, that's all they have, is a big punch. Khan doesn't need Prescott.

I know that Prescott said not long after he sparked out Khan that he would be more than happy to fight Khan in a rematch.I felt sorry for Prescott after he ko'd Khan because he hardly got any publicity at all.I think Prescott would just do the same job on Khan im affraid to say.Not as quick as 56 seconds as he did when their first met but in at least 4rounds.Its not like i hate Khan because i dont really, well not as a fight anyhow, its just that i think Khan has been kind of lucky throughout his pro career with hand picked washed up fighters.

Anyways, could someone tell me what Prescott lacks as a fighter inside the ring?,we know he has power!

Rather than show how poor Prescott is this highlights how poor Amirs boxing ability and punch resitance are, dont forget, prescott had to travel for that fight as well.

Amir is a little cuunt, he nearly kills someone because of his twatish driving, then gets caught driving like a priick a couple more times, hes just a little priick who cant take a punch, he made me laugh in the Barrera fight with the raised arms like Pacquiao, the only time Manny does it is if hes hurt, now, Amir is 13 years younger and naturally about 3 weights higher, yet he needed to try the kidology routine because an old retired feather weight could get to him and I do believe had Marco not been cut that Amir would have been stopped at some point in the fight and its only a matter of time before he has to face someone again who can punch
