I think that Roy may stop Lacy on cuts but I don't see him KOing him. Roy used to put real venom in his shots but seems to lack it these days.

I'd give my right arm just to see the Roy that KO'd Griffin in there tonight but unfortunately that man is gone!

I rewatched the Trinidad - Jones fight two days ago and today watched the Sheika fight. When Roy fought Trinidad it seemed almost like he was pulling on his punches almost like he didn't want to hurt Tito, they fought each other almost like they were best friends lol

But Roy seems to throw it soft and hard nowadays I don't know if thats a trap he lays but he needs to hit Lacy hard early to discourage him

Agreed jones hasnt been able to pull the trigger since the johnson fight but i still fancy him to be able to get lacy out of there late on.

Lacy has already taken 2 12 round beatings in his career where on both occasions he was merely fighting on for the sake of not having a KO on his record. I get the feeling they may just feel the need to get him out of their tonight if he is taking similar punishment thus to avoid another beating!

Jones by decision or else late round stoppage. Lacy is crap now, so crap that even an ancient great can pull him apart when he wants. Pointless fight all in all.

Jones will not stop Lacy I pretty much can guarantee that because Calzaghe and Taylor hit him with everything but the kitchen sink and he didn't go away and besides tomato can Sheika he (Jones) has not knocked out a quality opponent since Clinton Woods in 2002. It will be Jones by close but Unanimous decision.

I just rewatched Jones last 3 fights and heres what I think. Roy doesnt deal with a guy who comes foward and throw a lot of punches too well. He backs to ropes and covers up, but he does get hit too often on the ropes. His jab is still sharp, but his legs are not. What we know about Lacy is this, he is consistant and can go 12 hard rounds. Hes not a great fighter, but hes a tough one and he has a great chin. If Jones can stay in the center of the ring all night and keep him on the end of his punches, he wins. I just dont think his legs can keep him off the ropes. On paper Jones should beat him, but given recent performances by both men, I think Lacy can take this one as overrated as I think he has been thoughout his career. This will be the fight that ends Jones career imho. As for Lacy, this will be his biggest win, against a guy that he wouldnt even belong in the ring with in his prime. Hopefully im wrong and Jones can jab his way to a UD.

I think its all up to Lacy for the most part.He needs to go after Roy from jump and I don't think Jones can maintain ring center and win it with pot shots and still possess the legs to keep sliding off......Lacy is nothing special,But he's thick,can bully with pop and should not be in 'awe' of the moment.This is IT for the both of them...I think Lacy TKOs Jones jr along the ropes if he persists at it.
