I think I will drive up from sunny Kent for this one, been looking forward to a good fight to go to for a while now.
Not seen enough of Dirrel to pass judgement but from what i have seen i say he's well out of his league.
Really only See Kessler and Froch as the two top men and it's a pick em between the two.
Great idea this and can't wait for it to start.
Got my set of tickets last night from Seatwave. 2nd tier seats. Not sure how good these will be as have never been to the Nottingham arena although my friends and I are looking forward to it. Hope the views are better than those I got for the Calzaghe vs Manfredo fight I watched in Cardiff where I could barely see anything (crappy seats on pitch).
My £ is for Froch to win this first bout despite Dirrell having the height and speed advantages. Why?
(1) He has home advantage and Dirrell has not fought professionally outside the United States before.
(2) Dirrell has not fought a fighter of Froch's calibre before. He is not used to being taken into the trenches and will struggle,
(3) Froch, whilst not the most gifted of the super 6 is up there with Kessler as being very mentally tough which will help see him through the later rounds. It is simple, he does not know how to quit.
Will post some photos for this when I get them.
Unfortunately, I will not be able to afford to go to all of these fights so am hopingn that BBC or ITV (UK channels) get the rights to show these. I have literally just started a facebook group campaigning for this. If you have a second can you sign up your support here. Thanks!
