#3 Kuyt is more versitile than Voronin (as Rafa has played him at midfield before) and he's very energetic on the pitch ergo as a sub he seems like he'd be more help to change pace and to win the ball.

#4 Ryan Babel isn't the answer up front either so that leaves us with N'Gog who is shit and Voronin whom I think handles the ball pretty well and can pass decently as well.

Voronin isn't the best player for the position but he fits to where we can use our subs most effectively and have more options....for example given the lineup I listed

#1 You can sub Kuyt in for Voronin and Dirk can play up front
#2 you can sub Kuyt in for Benayoun and Dirk can play midfield
#3 you can sub Kuyt in for Voronin and switch Yossi to CAM and Gerrard to striker
#4 You can sub Kuyt in at striker if Torres gets injured
#5 You can sub Kuyt in forBenayoun at midfield and still have Babel left over to sub in for a fresh striker

We don't need Voronin to score 15-20 goals, we need someone to help Gerrard and Torres score goals and in that case I think Voronin is the man to start....it's not like he could be worse than Robbie Keane was last season.
You played Keane out of posistion most of the times and a striker thrives off confidence when your on the bench most of the time what do you think that does to you Keane is ten times better player than Voronin.
