Well i have finally done a little sparring and it was with a taller guy with a decent left jab. I'm a southpaw so i found that I could do certain things to neutralize his jab.

i) he throws his left jab
ii) i parry with my right hand
iii) i immediately throw my left cross then step down and to my right and give a right hook to his body
iv) then i pivoted out to my right

it got to the point that he didn't want to throe his jab anymore. He didn't have the confidence with it after a while. i got him with this time and time again because he count adjust to the fact that i did it automatically without hesitating or thinking. i just did it automatically.
I practiced this on the bag over and over until i could do it without hesitating.Â

But not all southpaws are right handed,well you just meet your first.2 question,s when throwing a jab i was taught when young to`keep your arm pparallelso its harder to telegraph but i find aalot of ppl llift they elbow a fraction out iss this a good way to,ssecondshirtless fighters i was also taught to watch the oopponentsbelly button the way it moves determines the direction of punch what r your views.
