    Default Gale Van hoy...118-110

If the commissions will not hold the judges accountable, maybe the fans can.No...not a national investigation or walking of the plank, personal persecution.Just a chance for the outraged to take an honest look at a judges entire fight history. Is there a pattern.....clear favoritism of certain styles, regions, etc ??

Bad decisions are an unfortunate fact of the sport. We as fans can objectively comprehend what we are seeing, for the most part when the bias and agendas are left by the wayside.Maybe we should make a habit of keeping shite scores, judges and referees in the know and fresh in memory from here on out....though something tells me that would require multiple weekly threads and might just crash the server .Box rec has its pluses and minuses but can serve a purpose here.Or maybe I'm just bored.

So here is one Gale van hoy....what do you see.Along the 12th page or so they do not list as many tallies for some reason.

Definately a few odd ones. 117-111 Taylor over Spinks for one, he also worked a lot of Diaz earlier fights. As I said before, I think this judge honestly has the fight 10-2 Diaz otherwise he would have scored it 116-112 or something. Poor judging, absolutely. Should he be suspended, imo yes, but I really blame whoever appointed this judge to work the fight knowing that he had a long history judging Diaz fights. Maybe judges should only be allowed to judge a fighter in no more than two fights ever so they dont grow to like a fighter. There are enough judges too mix it up.

The more questionable results for me are as follows:

The John-Juarez fight seems a tad suspicious, I thought John was up a round or two.

    Diaz-Katsidis maybe?

Taylor-Spinks...that was one of JT worst performances and GVH had it 117-111 Taylor

Oh a GLARING error 112-115 when the other two judges had it 116-111 for Sam Peter vs James Toney.

Larry Mosley-Golden Johnson the other judges have it 116-112 and 114-114 but GVH scored it 113-115

I do give him credit for getting Barrett-Guinn right as Dommonick was an undefeated prospect at the time. BUt other than that there are plenty of shady scorings

I think that a lot of people forget tha there is a reason that there are three judges. This score was horrendous, but the other two judges scoecards were for JD too. Are all three judges corrupt? Maybe, or did things just look a lot different from where they were sitting. I remember being at Gatti-Ward I and I swore Gatti won the fight. Then I went home and watched it on HBO and Had Micky winning. Perception is everything. Does anyone have the press row scoring for Malignaggi-Diaz?

This ref has a really good winning record!

I think he may go down as one of the best ever. What's all the fuss about?

Any1 know what weight class he fought at mostly?
