I had it 115-113 Malinaggi...though it could have gone either way....Malinaggi was not outright robbed of a win but he was robbed of a fair shake........That is the worst of it all...a guy fights his heart out then gets screwed

I scored it 115-113 Diaz, but I was drunk and watching it on a stream. I'm going to watch it again tomorrow and I have a feeling my perceptions might change.

It was a very close fight though, either guy could've got the nod. The word 'robbery' is being used far too often these days, the scores were off but Malignaggi didn't get robbed if that makes any sense.

Everytime I watch the fight i think it's more and more convincing for Diaz and I think the talk is by Paulie is way over the top. I give Paulie a lot of credit for coming out moving, sticking to a gameplan and making it a good show but I thought Diaz was landing harder, more accurate shots and Malignaggi wasn't as sharp as he was given credit for a good percentage of those shots that we blocked. Diaz did really good work with his jab that he wasn't given any credit for, I just think he won the fight and convincingly enough imo.

    R1: Malignaggi
    R2: Diaz
    R3: Malignaggi
    R4: Diaz
    R5: Diaz
    R6: Diaz
    R7: Diaz
    R8: Diaz
    R9: Malignaggi
    R10: Malignaggi
    R11: Malignaggi
    R12: Diaz

That's 115-113 and the Malignaggi rounds were closer then the Diaz rounds and honestly I can understand Gale Van Hoy's card a little bit or at least I can understand the logic he was probably using and that's just that Paulie's punches counted for next to nothing. He wasn't turning much over, all arm punches and not that accurate. He did do nice work with the right uppercut and that was his best punch in the fight imo aside from the jab. Diaz' punches were much louder and he was doing much better work to the body throughout the fight and a lot of those rounds Malignaggi won he did so without landing to many clean punches.

118-110 is ridiculous and even I will admit that I think even 117-11 is a stretch but 116-112 for Diaz I wouldn't have a problem with. With that said I wouldn't have a problem for some of these 115-113 scorecards but the right man won that fight imo.

    What he said.

Max should be banned for life. Van Hoy should be given an ice cream cone. At one point Diaz landed a good shot at the end of a combo that Papa commented on but Max was immediately yeah but Paulie landed 4 or 5 shots right before that, rewinded, no he didn't.

Yeah, the numbers were ridiculous and I know that sequence. Not only was it not 4 or 5 punches landed, it wasn't even 1 punch landed they were all blocked. I give Malignaggi credit for the best performance of his career, who knows if he had shown up like that against Hatton what would have happened but I don't think he won and yeah, HBO was pretty bad.

I think the Cotto fight was his best but this was deffo his second best. Hatton hurt him early and often which is why Paulie could never get going.
