Maybe you are right, but i also think it kind of depends on the esteem to which people are held. The fact that he continued on successfully speaks to the high regard people had for him, and were prepared to forgive an accident. Yes but as far as we know Tim Russert never killed anyone, never helped anyone get aquitted of rape, invented HMO's, supported the IRA or wrote anything having to do with the No Child Left Behind education bill.

That guy had a terrific legacy behind him, has seen it all and was a major and deeply respected heavyweight in the politcal arena, he had brain cancer so it was to be expected but as we didn't hear about him, I thought he was doing better, r.i.p Teddie, you did a lot for your country though as a human, you made a few mistakes here and here, your political legacy is beyond imagination and you will definitely be missed.
