No pins and needles in the fingers. The pain is on the outside of the elbow and sometimes radiates half way down the forearm. Lifting anything palm down seems to aggrivate it.

Okay just sounds like the Elbow, stretching is the answer. Trouble is the stretches are hard to describe![]()
Pain lasts a only a minute, but the memory will last forever....

I've had the history of shoulder tendinitis a few years back. Steroid like cortisone won't do any help. RICE protocol is good if you have injury due to trauma but since tendonitis is a chronic pain as a result of inflammation of the tendons, RICE is not the real answer but may help a little.
A simple pain reliever wont remove the pain as long as the inflammation is still there. An anti-inflammatory agent will do the solving and try to rest the affected part bec. continue using it may agrevate the swelling.
